Dr. Tony Das was the medical expert in a story on KTVT about Dallas firefighter Jeff Davis, who suffered a heart attack before being rescued by another firefighter. The benefits of angioplasty were presented by Dr. Park in a discussion of treatment options for heart disease. As a CIVA specialist, Dr. Park uses angioplasty to improve symptoms from coronary artery disease and to help reduce damage to the heart muscle caused from heart attacks. Dr. Das was recognized at the Annual Awards Banquet of the greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding accomplishments in the field of clinical medicine.

Dr. Jack Spitzberg gave a lecture on Cardiac Issues in the Athlete at the Southwest
Sports Medicine Symposium. Dr. Spitzberg also served on the Blue Ribbon Panel to help
evaluate the 2007 Texas Super Doctors nominees for Texas Monthly magazine.
